#STUDIO225THEPARTY
February 2020: new york fashion week edition
The first installment of #studio225theparty in 2020 was nothing short of a VIBE. We switched up locations and headed to the Lower East Side to take over Kind Regards, which seemed like the only place to be Thursday night to kick off New York Fashion Week… the right way!
The party started at 10PM with sounds from DJ and Music Producer Simen Sez. Considering the number of RSVPs received, guests were emailed prior to the start of the party and was suggested to arrive early in order to be granted access into the party. Simen welcomed guests with a lot of crowd favorites that he put his own spin on which set the tone of the party. The night was hosted by Josh Renfroe, Photographer and Founder of #BlackBoyFly while Resident DJ and Founder of Studio 225, Kenneth Kyrell took over the turntables to keep the vibes going. Kenneth took guests for a ride with a set that included everything from Sade to Marvin Gaye, Kaytranada, Beyonce, Megan Thee Stallion, and even Kirk Franklin. Brian Henry formally known as B-Hen blessed the booth as well, all the way from Los Angeles, California to keep people moving all night.
